I have a week off from my job and thought what is more perfect than having fun finding inspiration for new healthy and delicious recipes for you to enjoy! Of course there are some perks to doing "research and creating recipes" and you guessed it- eating them! It is not only me that have been enjoying these perks, my family have been well fed so far thats for sure.
Whilst creating new recipes in the kitchen this week! |
I have realised that I have not actually put my face to Clean Foodie Guide on the blog yet so this is me above in the kitchen experimenting (probably excited to make something yummy!)
So its that time of year that everyone gets reflective and re-evaluates their own lifestyle/ health/ diet... Am I right?! Most of our New Years resolutions are giving up or cutting out that are not so realistic. Trust me I was with you one of my previous years was giving up chocolate. But over the years I have come to realise that if you do want to change certain aspects it is not the "give up" option but you may want to pick the "alternative" option.
Here's my example looking back I shouldn't have wanted to give up chocolate (I mean what girl can!?) I should have said to myself I am going to make my own chocolate which is a healthier alternative. Or in the supermarket pick a chocolate that has no added sugar in. That way you still get to eat chocolate on occasion but you can reward yourself that you have chosen the healthier alternative!
So that leads me on to what my New Years resolution is:
"To be healthy and happy in 2015"
Now this resolution for me is simple but effective- Healthy means for me being active, eating well, balance in my lifestyle (work, social life and family and relationships). Happy is having no restrictions and really enjoying what I am doing in the present whether it be swimming training or creating a new blog post for you lovely people!
Start the year off well and it only takes 21 days for something to become habit!
Lots of Love, Ella x
