Death By Chocolate Brownies

I tried these for the first time yesterday and I have already had requests to make more at the weekend they are that good!

These chocolate brownies are flour-less, refined sugar free, gluten free and absolutely heavenly (hence the 'Death by Chocolate' name).

A very quick method to making them so you will be able to whip up a batch in no time...



Ingredients:- 200g dates
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup of coconut oil
- 3/4 cup of cacao powder
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
- 1 tbsp vanilla

Instructions:

1) Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C.

2) Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until desired smoothness (I kept the mixture so the dates were not completely blended in and made a nice and chewy surprise in the brownie).

3) Pour mixture into a baking paper lined tray and bake for 25-30 minutes.

4) Sprinkle with a few almond flakes or cacao powder to serve and tuck in!!



As you can see the pieces were quickly disappearing in my kitchen!
